La clase de Principiante es la clase de partida para cada nuevo jugador Norman. Este tiene la capacidad de avanzar a otras clases y ofrece a nuevos jugadores una posibilidad para aprender el juego y decidir que curso ellos quieren tomar antes de la comisión a una clase. Ellos son generalmente una clase de juego débil y efímera, pero tienen el potencial y habilidades de hacerlos tan viables como otras clases más tarde. Ellos tienen un repertorio interesante de utilidad y habilidades de combate que satisfacen su naturaleza aventurera y Juegan Muerto el skill regreso. No esta confirmado si el "super novice", una forma avanzada del Principiante con la capacidad para aprender las capacidades básicos de cada 1a clase de trabajo, será llevado en RO2 también.

~ Main Stat

STR: Max. P. Short Attack +2, Min. P. Short Attack +1, and Maximum HP +10.

~ Secondary Stat

DEX: P. Short Critical Rate +1 and Skill Cooldown Time -2.
CON: Max. P. Ranged Attack +4, Min. P. Ranged Attack +2, and P. Short Attack Speed +2.

~ Skills

* Short Sword Mastery: Allows the user to equip a "Short Sword" type weapon. Attack power and accuracy will be increased each level up. Skill Exp is gained each time by hiting with "Short Sword".
* Mastery of King: Increase the min physical DMG.
* Martial Arts: This skill increases attack power and accuracy when fighting bare handed.
* Tension: Increase LP when used.
* Quick Recovery: This skill increases your natural HP and SP recovery rate.
* Quick Blow: This skill hits the target with high accuracy and high damage. Gain 1 LP when used per time. (An LP is an acronymn for Letalis Points, and it stands for points gained while using skills. There are amazing skills which can only be used when theres enough LP.)
* Improvised Combo: This skill does more damage if used on mobs with a higher level than you. 2 LPs will be consumed each time this skill used. Can not be used on mobs 20 leves higher than you.
* Insight Strike: If this skill kills your target you will gain extra EXP, all the LPs will be consumed and attacking DMG will be increased according to the consumed LPs.
* Power Strike: This skill ignores the enemys physical defence. 1 LP will be gained each time this skill used.
* Appeal Sympathy: This skill decreases the enemys hate towards you.
* Act Dead: This skill lets you pretend to be dead and keep aggressive monsters from attacking you. All SP will be consumed.
